How long is the average stay in your recovery center?

In most cases you should prepare to stay in recovery for 30 to 60 days although each individual client's needs will vary. During this time, a12 step recovery program and daily meetings are the biggest focus during your stay with executive recovery. This does not mean that we are not open to other treatment philosophies, but believe that this type of structured environment helps most clients recover with the highest success rate. During your time with Executive Recovery you also meet with a medical doctor individually as well as are trained and certified drug and alcohol addiction specialist counselors.

How long is the detox process?

The drug detox process is largely dependent on what drugs or alcohol you were using as well as the amount ingested. Depending on your threshold as well as tolerances for your drugs or drink of choice each detoxification will be different. Typically the drug and alcohol detox process can be an accomplished from seven to 10 days, and many times can be much shorter, once again depending on the factors of your addiction. The detox process is our initial "first step" of getting the client to stop daily use of drugs or alcohol. Many clients will still need the full 30 to 60 days to treat the underlying causes of drug and alcohol abuse to help them stay clean for the rest of their lives.

What is "painless" detox?

Our doctors are trained to provide the most effective prescription drugs available to combat the discomfort and symptoms associated with withdrawal. These may include such drugs as Subutex and Suboxone. The two aforementioned drugs are the first new medications specifically for opiate addiction to be introduced in nearly 30 years.

Can I stay in touch with my business well and treatment and have access to my cell phone?

As mentioned, it each treatment program is customized for your individual needs and lifestyle. In most cases we can offer our clients remote offices with telephone, fax and Internet connections so you can keep in touch with your business associates as well as your loved ones.

During my stay is it possible for me to leave the facility or take days off for urgent matters?

Again, each program is customized for your needs and lifestyle. In some cases we can issue "weekend passes" for part of your stay at executive recovery. We recommend not leaving why you are in treatment to understand that you may need to take care of your business and your family during this time.
